Your mission is to survive an asteroid shower for as long as possible by swiping your thumbs across the screen to control your ship to avoid, dodge and escape the hurtling rocks of doom.

Bit Pilot is a retro gamer’s delight with great 8-bit graphics, 8-bit bleeps and classic gameplay. Retro fans should download it today as it is still free as part of Openfeint’s promotion. Other gamers may find it limited with just the one ongoing level, and I’m sure the lack of options for the control method might present a few problems to some. But overall it’s a fast, enjoyable classic-style game.
