CataGugl

Not sure where to start with this review, if you have already read the excerpt then you know we’re not happy with this game. So there’s no point delaying any further. CataGugl isn’t really a game, it’s just something silly to do with your finger. I’m sure there are 59p apps out there which are just as bad, but please don’t waste your time downloading or buying this.

The aim of the game is to launch ‘Gugl’ (a green plasticine style blob), across the landscape by taping and swirling your finger to see the maximum distance you can reach. After your first attempt (if you’ve downloaded this by accident or for free!), you’ll probably have a few more goes to see if the game play will improve, but then it’s time to delete it and buy a 59p alternative.

On the plus side, CataGugl has bright, bouncy, colourful graphics, which will appeal to a younger audience as well as the cutesy sfx. Unfortunately this doesn’t save the game and just keeps it from being awarded zero stars.

Score: You must be joking, I’m not wasting any more time on this!
