Bug Heroes is a beautiful 3d game with a great little story about the onslaught of an evil bug army out to destroy you and eat your stash of food. You play as the bug hero, or rather a group of 3 heroes as you can swap characters at any time during the game depending on who best suits the situation or battle you’re presented with.

Once again Foursaken Media (NY Zombies) weave an entertaining story to establish the world and breathe life into their game. Alongside the detailed background info on all the players and characters throughout Bug Heroes – which can be read to help you further your progress in one of the four levels (in Adventure Mode) – it will take a long time before you get bored of this game due to all the possible configurations of your heroes’ skills and the base’s defense.

The graphics are spot on and the style is original and fun, add to this a soundtrack which doesn’t annoy but takes a back seat and allows you to focus on the game; plus audio from the “heroes” which sounds just like you would imagine a bug would sound like, if they were doing an impression of a famous action film star – priceless!

Bug Heroes is a real contender for the game of 2011 (even in January) and it will take something special to knock it off. Say good bye to your free time and purchase Bug Heroes!
